A Prayer for Little Hearts
Sometimes little hearts need gentle words to remind them that Jesus is close, loving, and full of joy over them. Here’s a short prayer you can read with your child or classroom—something calming, comforting, and rooted in Scripture.

“Jesus, thank You for being close to me.
Thank you for being part of my day.
You stand at the door of my heart and knock,
And I want to welcome you in (Revelation 3:20).
Thank you for singing happy songs over me.
Thank You that I make Your heart glad
and that You made me wonderfully (Zephaniah 3:17).
Thank you for knowing my name
and calling me Your own (Isaiah 43:1).
When I feel sad, scared, or unsure,
Help me remember that You are right there with me.
Help me show Your love to others
by being kind, gentle, patient, and helpful.
Let my life shine with Your love
so others can know they are loved, too.
Jesus, be my friend,
my helper,
and my safe place.
I love You,
And I’m glad you’re with me.
Amen.”
